THE ROLE OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY IN DEVELOPING STUDENTS' SOCIAL WELL-BEING

Abstract

Physical activity is one of the most important determinants of a healthy lifestyle. It has a positive effect on many aspects of the proper functioning of the body. It can also have a positive impact on social well-being and building relational capital. The purpose of the investigation was to determine the impact of sports activity of students of the University of Siedlce on their level of satisfaction with various aspects of social relationships. The research was carried out using the diagnostic survey method using a questionnaire. They covered 109 students. The research confirmed the hypothesis that there is a relationship between physical activity and their satisfaction with social relationships. Research has confirmed that physical activity has a positive impact on social well-being.
