Modern organizations operate in ambient conditions, volatility must participate in creating reality in an active way, should therefore create knowledge. Organizations need to know
how to create new products, services, new ways of working, understand how new knowledge is
create. The process of knowledge is a set of specific actions and initiatives that are being taken
by the company to improve the quality and quantity of knowledge organization. Therefore, organizations are looking for new solutions to its effective acquisition, development and exploitation
both at the individual and the organization. The growing importance of knowledge in the management of the enterprise, recognized by both the researchers and business practitioners resulted in attempts to create a variety of theories, concepts, methods and techniques to explain the
essence, meaning and practical application of knowledge in the management process. The article contains the results of studies related to the processes of knowledge creation in organizations who are the winners of the Polish Quality Award.
