Clustering in rural areas of the Ukraine

The article deals with clustering in rural areas of the Ukraine from a historical perspective. For
example, a cluster in the village of the Ukraine's Gulyaypole Ekaterinoslav province (now the Zaporizhia
region) have shown that a cluster of rural areas in market conditions may develop without the intervention
of the state or, if this interference is minimized. Analysed is the governance of cluster development in
rural areas of the Ukraine during its period in the USSR and its proven negative impact on rural society.
The reasons for the complexity of the development of rural clusters and disclosure of their potential in the
post-Soviet period are shown.
