Globalization processes and technological changes lead to increased competition. These facts
impose on a new company’s management models. Company integration, knowledge employees, internationalization
– all put pressure on innovation and the ability to adapt and cooperate in a new environment.
As a consequence, leaders of those companies encounter new and different challenges. The main objective
of the article is to describe the elements that are essential for leading international knowledge teams.
