Psychodidactic ideas of J.A. Comenius: from history to the present
Abstract
Through the analysis and comparison of modern scientific sources and Great Didactics by Jan Amos Comenius the article describes the psychodidactic ideas of Comenius. It is indicated that modern productive pedagogy has actualized the formation of interdisciplinary science – psy-chodidactics, which studies the special conditions for increasing learning process productivity by maximizing psychic phenomena peculiarities in the activities of teachers and pu-pils / students. The psychodidactic approach authorship in education has been substantiated by belonging to a prominent pedagogue. Jan Amos Comenius psychodidactic ideas, expressed in his Great Didactics, are singled out: didactics as a science of education and upbringing unity; subject-subjective, productive learning, focused on the effective interaction of a teacher and pu-pils / students; education without coercion; maximum integration with psychology and its cur-rent achievements; the priority of personality abilities development; education and upbringing motivation; special organization of the educational environment. The conclusion on relevance of Jan Amos Comenius psychodidactic ideas is made.
