The publication presents a number of problems that affect selected areas of social security in connection with the war in Ukraine. A thesis was put forward that it is assumed that migrations caused by the war in Ukraine contributed to the instability of some areas of social security, such as the education system, labor market or social security (limited to the need to ensure existence through the analysis of the real estate market). The aim of the article is to determine the impact of these migrations on the areas of social security mentioned in the hypothesis. In connection with the above, the author defined the phenomenon of migration, the terms refugee and social security, discussed the statistics related to the phenomenon of migration, and indicated institutional and legal forms of assistance for Ukrainians. Based on quantitative and qualitative research – carried out by people and institutions such as the School with Class Foundation, real estate market experts, a study commissioned by the Commissioner for Human Rights, and publicly available statistics of the Border Guard and the Office for Foreigners – the author characterized instabilities in the education system, labor market, and real estate market.
